Residence at Mount Kembla, NSW.
I was particularly sensitive to the long living family history on site, and the willingness to explore a new way of living by joining 3 generations under one roof. To my knowledge, this model of living is not common in a modern Australian social context, and will become one of the manifestations of "shared occupancy" concepts developed from sustainable development implementation strategies.

Since the mid 80s as an architect student, Nathalie began to embrace design principles and values that now define sustainable design. She started to develop the foundations of her design philosophy:

• design and create in harmony & balance with site, natural forms, community and the environment
• integrate client’s needs and vision, functionality and fluidity of spaces, budget and design principles
• enhance quality of life, a sense of connectedness to the land, the community.
